Located on beautiful Bali, the Indonesian “Island of the Gods”, Vision Villa Resort is the first Entrepreneur resort in Asia. The resort is located in the cultural epicenter of the island yet hidden away from the traffic and city noise in tranquil, peaceful surroundings. Nestled among lush tropical water gardens, flowering trees, and coconut palms, you will find a magical place full of discoveries and surprises.
Vision Villa Resort is an intimate and inspirational setting. We’ve created an ideal place to bring together entrepreneurship, education, healthy lifestyle and well-being.
The Genius Café Food Experience with the amazing Chef Cynthia Louise offers you a complete daily nutrition package. With menus crafted from the best locally sourced organic food and complemented by delicious fresh smoothies and unlimited coconuts, your nutrient and mineral intake, has been carefully designed to give your body everything it needs to help support your stay during the workshop - all meals are covered during the programme and are hosted buffet style at Vision Villas.
What To Bring With You
Casual clothes, swimming gear, suntan lotion, mosquito repellent
and your credit card should all be packed ready to come. We
recommend you bring your laptop, a power board and a travel
adapter for Bali electrical connections. General weather
conditions should be 25°C to 31°C.
Mobile Phone Options
If you want an alternative to global roaming (talk to your provider about this),
you must have an unlocked phone. Once you arrive at Vision Villa you can buy
a local SIM card and insert this into your existing phone. The brand most people
use in Bali is Simpati. If you load RP 100,000 on the card initially, it will last
anywhere from a few days to a month. To “top it up”, just go to the Vision Villa
front desk and they can assist you.
We also recommend setting up a voicemail message on your phone letting callers know you are overseas and to either send an SMS or an email, rather than leaving you a voicemail. Alternatively, you can set up a Skype number for the duration of your stay and redirect your phone calls to your Skype number.
Currency
Indonesian Rupiah - IDR
The currency you will want to organise if you do choose to bring some cash is
Indonesian Rupiah. You can change some money at the airport before you
depart or when you land. Most establishments do accept credit cards so cash
is not necessary for most situations.
Hire a car/driver per trip
This cost can be shared among the passengers. Typical costs are USD $15 for a
round trip to Komune Restaurant and Beach Club at Keramas Beach (nearby),
USD $20 one way to Ubud, USD $30 one way to Denpasar or Kuta or Airport.
Ride bicycles
There are a few bicycles available at Vision Villas that are complimentary for you
to use at any time.
Walk
There are various small stores up and down our street. If you turn right from Vision Villas
and walk for 30 minutes, you will be standing on the shores of the ocean just 1.5km away.
Shopping
Quick shopping can be done just around the corner if you turn left when leaving Vision Villas.
Larger grocery stores can be found in:
Local Markets
There are various local markets in Gianyar, Sanur and Ubud. Just ask your driver to take
you to a local market. The driver is also a great resource to help you negotiate the best
price for the item you are wanting. You might want to tip the drivers when they give you
extraordinary service.
